Arco di Porta Romana



It is the symbol of the neighborhood and one of the historic 7 gateways to the city in medieval times. Today it is one of the neighborhood's landmarks for trendy clubs, trattorias and the beautiful spa carved out of an early 20th century Art Nouveau building; a unique place in Milan to indulge in relaxation in a setting that is difficult to repeat. The door is inspired by a famous ballad of the Milanese "mala" , Porta Romana bella, performed by Nanni Svampa, Giorgio Gaber and various other artists. In 1980, directed by Bruno Corbucci, the film Delitto a Porta Romana starring Tomas Milian was made.

Rotonda della Besana



The Rotonda della Besana, a short walk from the apartment, is a late Baroque complex in Milan consisting of a long enclosed arcade at the center of which stands the former church of San Michele ai Nuovi Sepolcri, erected from 1695. The complex since 1958, has been used as a public green space popular with families with children and as an exhibition space for temporary exhibitions, screenings and cultural events (Salone del Mobile;Milan Fashion Week). The beautiful garden of the Rotunda has an area of 7100 m², Since January 2014 it has been home to the Children's Museum of Milan.

Giardini della Guastalla



The Guastalla gardens are a park in Milan. Overlooking Via Francesco Sforza, opposite theState University of Milan they are some of the oldest public gardens in Milan characterized by a seventeenth-century fish pond, in Baroque style, a shrine, also from the seventeenth century and a neoclassical temple by Cagnola. A magical place surrounded by century-old trees with a playground space dedicated to children and a place for the young people of the old town to relax and meet. It is only a 300-meter walk from the residence and is a favorite gathering place for young people and families.

Teatro Franco Parenti



A 5-minute walk from Via Lamarmora is Teatro Franco Parenti, one of the most important theaters on the Milan theater scene. The historic venue reopened in 2008 completely renovated by Michele De Lucchi 's renovation under the artistic direction of Andrée Ruth Shammah and with scenic interventions by Gian Maurizio Fercioni. More than 5,400 square meters on three levels organize eight different spaces, including a 500-seat hall and two 150-seat halls, which can be used simultaneously. An absolutely unique venue for contemporary performances of all kinds.

I Bagni Misteriosi



The Mysterious Baths are a unique and magical place, a true visual and sensory experience; created under the artistic direction of the Franco Parenti Theater, to which they are linked both physically and managerially, the Mysterious Baths are the result of the restoration of an old Art Nouveau swimming pool from the 1930s transformed into a place for aquatic relaxation and events during the summer period and an events venue with a water skating rink during the Milan winter. Only pictures can describe a place worth a visit in every season, exactly a stone's throw from our residence.

Teatro Carcano



At the end of Via Lamarmora is one of Milan's historic theaters, inaugurated in 1803, it is still one of the city's largest halls, and hosts prose, dance and music performances. historic venue for the set in largo Crocetta a few steps from the Duomo. To give a sense of historical relevance just consider that on October 15, 1813, Niccolò Paganini performed there , in a memorable evening during which he was proclaimed "the world's first violinist."

Cinema Colosseo



The Colosseum Cinema is not a movie theater but a living room for movie lovers and undoubtedly the finest theater in the city; just a 10-minute walk from the residence, the facility offers 6 theaters with varied programming from blockbusters to arthouse films for a more refined audience. Completely restored in 2024, in furnishings and facility, it is the city's historic hall.
